MISSON
The Friends of the Library have six goals:
To encourage understanding and appreciation of the work of the library.
To build up a greater realization of the library's importance to the community's future development.
To attract bequests and gifts of books, manuscripts, money, and other appropriate materials beyond the resources of the library budget.
To serve as a medium through which Friends of the Library may become acquainted with and share their enthusiasm for books, and cultural and educational activities.
To support the freedom to read as expressed in the American Association Bill of Rights.
To promote the development of library affiliated programs for various groups in the community, e.g. the elderly and children.
